About the job

We would like you to join our strong and ambitious team to provide services within the integrated components of our accommodation based recovery service, based in Newcastle, supporting women, with children, through rehabilitation from addictions and complex needs.

As a Family Support Worker, you will be expected to provide support to women who have substance misuse issues and their children. Interacting with them on a day to day basis, agreeing well-structured plans, and empowering, coaching and advising them so they are able to stabilise their situation, and move on successfully.  This will involve lone working at times.
