Step Forward Tees Valley is led by the Northern Inclusion Consortium which is comprised of four leading North East charities; Changing Lives; DISC; Groundwork NE & Cumbria; and Mental Health Concern, each with a well-established commitment to delivering community-based services for people with complex needs.
Step Forward Tees Valley is an exciting programme delivered across the five local authority areas of the Tees Valley. There are 29 partner organisations that are involved in the programme, aiming to support 2,500 people experiencing barriers and complex needs move closer toward work and training opportunities. The programme is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and European Social Fund until September 2019 and aims to tackle poverty and promote social inclusion. The position will be based with the Changing Lives team in Stockton.

The opportunity has arisen to recruit a talented, enthusiastic and resourceful individual to work in a challenging but rewarding field.
As a Volunteer / Peer Mentor Co-ordinator, we are looking for a suitably experienced individual to undertake the responsibility of leading on the provision of a support frame-work identifying volunteer opportunities and co-ordinating the recruitment, placement and retention of volunteers. You will also play an integral role in the support and provision of the Peer Mentor programme, working closely with existing members of the team.
