Changing Lives responds to Operation Shelter convictions

Last week, news of Operation Shelter and the convictions of 18 people in Newcastle-upon-Tyne was made public. Since then, Changing Lives has been mentioned in the media as one of the organisations supporting victims of Operation Shelter and Operation Sanctuary. Our focus is on the brave victims of Operation Shelter, helping them come to terms with what they've experienced and look forward to a brighter future.

Changing Lives has been working in partnership with Northumbria Police and Newcastle City Council for a number of years supporting victims of sexual abuse and exploitation. Former Mayor and Headteacher amongst fundraisers taking part in Morpeth Sleepout

Just one month from now, three local ladies will be sleeping out in Morpeth Market Place to raise awareness and funds for Changing Lives.

Rhona Dunn, Alison Byard (former Mayor of Morpeth) and Caroline Pryer (Headteacher of Ponteland Middle School) will brave the unpredictable British weather with a 24-hour sleepout in the town centre on Saturday 26th August and Sunder 27th August.

Changing Lives and Spectrum Community Health CIC are taking over the contract for drug and alcohol services in York from 1st June.

Changing Lives and Spectrum secured the contract following a competitive tender process.
