Changing Lives and Spectrum Community Health CIC are taking over the contract for drug and alcohol services in York from 1st June.

Changing Lives and Spectrum secured the contract following a competitive tender process.

There will be no initial changes to service delivery, and contact details and referral processes remain the same.

No waste here! FareShare North East supplies more than half-a-million meals made from surplus food to vulnerable people

FareShare are thrilled to announce that last year, their North East franchise, which is run by Changing Lives, distributed enough surplus food to create more than half-a-million nutritious meals for local people in need.

Changing Lives Provides Safety Packs For People Involved In Sex Work In Doncaster

Changing Lives in Doncaster has provided safety packs to people involved in sex work, with the help of funding from South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner.

Dr Alan Billings, South Yorkshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner, awarded Changing Lives almost £5,000 earlier this year to support the personal safety of men and women involved in survival sex work.

Changing Lives granted funding to help people in North East manage their money

Money Advice Service research shows that four out of ten adults in the UK are not in control of their finances and around 16.8 million working age people have less than £100 in savings. However, very little evidence currently exists on the best way to address this issue.
