Newcastle CEO Sleepout UK

On October 9th, 45 of the region’s top business executives took part in the Newcastle CEO Sleepout UK to raise awareness of homelessness.

A Significant Drop in Prostitution- Related Offences

In Doncaster there was a 74% drop in prostitution-related offences recorded last year where we ran the Amber project through our women’s service centre.

Housing First Update

Changing Lives is leading a partnership of eight organisations England-wide to look at the successes and challenges of the initial Housing First pilots and make recommendations for the integration of Housing First in homelessness service systems.

Congratulations Andy

Huge congratulations to Changing Lives Operational Manager, Andy Ryan, for completing the ultimate climbing challenge of a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa to raise funds for Changing Lives.

Andy started the trek on a Sunday morning and hit the summit by 9am on the following Thursday morning, finishing at the gate of the park on the Friday afternoon.

Breakfast for Everyone Courtesy of FareShare

FareShare North East and York, part of the charity Changing Lives, recently donated a large collection of food to support a breakfast club at The Dales School in Blyth. The food donation will enable the school children to start the morning with a nutritional breakfast, preparing them for the busy day ahead.
