Role Description

To provide reception and admin support to a busy accommodation service.

Key responsibilities

  • Welcoming clients into the offices
  • General administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and faxing
  • Data input or transfer
  • Devising and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
  • Answering the telephone, taking messages
  • Allowing clients into the project via a secure door
  • Keeping the reception orderly

Skills, experience and abilities

  • Friendly and approachable manner, and a good sense of humour
  • Able to work as part of a team with good communication and listening skills
  • Open-minded, with a non-judgemental approach to addiction and recovery
  • Able to keep calm under pressure
  • Experience in any aspect of office or admin is beneficial but not essential
  • A commitment to the aims and principles of Changing Lives, including a commitment to confidentiality

Expected hours/times

Monday to Friday, 10.00-4.00
