Help us change lives at the Newcastle CEO Sleepout. Changing Lives will be taking part in CEO Sleepout on 24 March 2022 as we unite to fight homelessness in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.
What is the CEO Sleepout?
Since 2014, CEO Sleepout events in Newcastle have raised £387,686 to support organisations like Changing Lives to raise funds for essential homelessness services in the city.
On the 24th March 2022, we will be spending a night outdoors at St James’ alongside the Toon’s best bosses, who’ve chosen to give up their beds for one night to raise awareness and lots of money for local people facing homelessness in their community. Lots of Newcastle’s biggest hitters will be taking part. Among those sleeping out for this brilliant cause will be ex-Newcastle United veteran striker Shola Ameobi! Will you join them?
Where will the money go?
The money raise from the CEO Sleepout will be used to help people facing challenging times make positive change – for good. Changing Lives is dedicated to supporting people to reach their potential, including addiction and recovery programmes, employment guidance, help for people in prison or on probation, and support for people experiencing sexual exploitation and domestic abuse.
Alice Fisher, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Changing Lives says:
“We are thrilled to be back at St James Park for the return of the Newcastle CEO Sleepout. We would love to see as many business leaders as possible take part, helping us to raise awareness and funds for the vital services we provide here in the North East to tackle homelessness. We believe that a safe and stable home is the foundation for building a better life. Join us in this challenge to support our services which help people to transition out of crisis and build positive and happy futures.”
