We would like to say a huge thank you to PL Furniture who have supplied all the furniture for our new service at Bentinck Terrace.
PL Furniture, a Midlands based company, were successful in winning the contract for providing all of the accommodation and office furnishings for our new accommodation service in Newcastle upon Tyne.
PL Furniture made a number of trips to Newcastle to determine what was needed to ensure the apartments were set up to a high standard.
The team at PL Furniture began work in Bentinck Terrace in May to fit 133 window blinds throughout the building. They supplied, installed and assembled furniture in all apartments, offices and meeting rooms. PL Furniture took great pride in making the apartments feel like home; they even made the beds!

The apartments look fantastic. They are modern but at the same time comfortable and homely which is exactly what I aimed to create when we started discussing furnishings in the beginning.

George Bell said “Most of our work involves furnishing individual or a small number of properties at a time and we usually get 2 or three of these larger projects each year. Bentinck Terrace posed a number of challenges including a fairly tight delivery window between the developers hand-over and project opening combined with the fact that it’s geographically 175 miles away from our warehouse. However, the Changing Lives team are a good team to work for and with their assistance we were able to complete installations to all apartments on time.”
