50K Your Way 2024

Sign-up for our 50K Your Way Challenge and help support those experiencing domestic abuse.

Join our annual 50K Your Way Challenge and help us support those experiencing domestic abuse across the UK.

At Changing Lives, we currently support over 4,500 people experiencing domestic violence and abuse. In the UK 1 in 5 children sadly live in a household where domestic violence occurs.

People have who experienced domestic abuse are twice as likely to experience depression with 40% of homeless women stating domestic abuse as a contributing factor to their situation.

Now it’s time to come together this May and leave domestic abuse behind.

You can make a huge difference this May!

By taking part in 50K Your Way you can help support our life changing work, so how do you get involved?

We're asking you to walk, run, cycle, row, swim, paddle, skate, hop, skip and even jump if you wish 50 kilometres to raise funds supporting our work!

You can take part at home, during your commute or over the weekends. Will you choose 1.6km (1 mile) a day? Challenge yourself to 12km per weekend? Or go for gold and complete 50km in just one day? Good luck! If you fancy taking on the challenge as a team you can even join as a team to split the distance.

We are asking you to become a true Life Changer by raising vital funds this May, helping those in the most difficult of circumstances to live better lives.

In 2023, together we covered a total of 3,236km - that's like travelling from our office in Gateshead to Nova Scotia!

Can you help us beat that in 2024 and raise life changing funds which are more important than ever?

Your Fundraising can Change Lives... for good

£50 raised could pay for an essential welcome pack to help someone moving into their new home after escaping domestic abuse.

£150 raised could pay for two nights’ emergency accommodation and meals for a family feeling domestic violence.

£250 raised could pay for trauma-informed counselling sessions with our Independent Domestic Violence Advocates (IDVA) who provide specialist intensive support.

Together we can help support those experiencing domestic abuse. Together we can make a life changing difference this May.
