CT009 – Senior Support Worker

Location: York Status: Full Time Hours Per Week: 37 hours per week Salary: £21,500 per annum Closing Date: 1st March 2019 Interview Date: 7th March 2019

About you

Do you have experience of working in the community? Do you have experience and/or willingness to work with clients who may demonstrate challenging behaviour? Do you have experience of supporting people with a variety of needs?

Do you have excellent time management skills? Do you have excellent communication skills? Do you have strong organisational and delegation skills?

Do you have commitment to detail, ensuring all work is accurate, concise and understandable? Do you have an understanding of how to work within professional boundaries? Do you have willingness to work in cooperation with team members and to work flexibly within the role?

We began as a soup run supporting people who were homeless in the North East over 45 years ago, and are proud to still have our main base and central office in the North East. Since 1970, our services have grown and developed to support people experiencing a wide range of personal challenges, including addiction and recovery programmes, employment guidance, help for people in prison or on probation, and support for people experiencing sexual exploitation or domestic abuse.
