FL004 – Co-Production Worker

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne / Gateshead Status: Full Time Hours Per Week: 37 Hours per week (fixed term until 31st March 2022) Salary: £22,883 – £24,571 per annum Closing Date: 17th February 2019 Interview Date: 11th March 2019

About you

Do you have relevant experience working in either mental health, homelessness, substance use or criminal justice services? Do you have experience of operating within and implementing risk management guidelines? Do you have experience of working with multiply excluded, hard to reach and hidden populations? Do you have experience of reporting and recording management information? Do you have experience of developing volunteer/mentoring projects and/or managing volunteers?

Do you have the ability to prioritise workload? Do you have the ability to work with a high level of initiative? Do you have coaching and facilitation skills? Do you have the ability to motivate and engage? Do you have time management and organisational skills?

Do you have commitment to the values of Fulfilling Lives? Do you have willingness to work flexibly within their role including some national travel? Do you have commitment to equality and diversity?

The Fulfilling Lives programme is an 8-year programme funded by The Big Lottery Fund, ending in 2022. Learning is at the heart of Fulfilling Lives and one of our core aims is that evidence and learning from the programme will promote positive changes in policy and practice leading to a changed system that works more effectively for people with multiple and complex needs. You will be solely employed on the Fulfilling Lives Programme until 31st March 2022.

About the job

This role will be responsible for the development and co-ordination of the programme’s established Experts by Experience group, including recruiting members to the group and managing volunteers. The Engagement and Co-production worker will ensure effective participation of people with lived experience throughout all levels of the Fulfilling Lives Programme to guarantee that the experiences of individuals with complex needs are used to shape the project and influence future commissioning of effective service provision.
