Veterans Support & Opportunities

In the North East, Changing Lives provide veterans with a range of specialist interventions, opportunities and training, which includes supported housing, signposting to appropriate agencies and access to our holistic and innovative alcohol, addiction and substance misuse programmes.

Our dedicated and empathetic staff who have served in the military can help with your smooth transition into civilian life. This also enables staff to engage more fully and who understand many of the complex social factors that affect veterans. Read about one of our dedicated veterans workers, Stuart.

We also provide a mentoring and outreach service that supports and engages with diverse family needs.

Our aim is to develop positive attitudes, remove social barriers, build confidence, life structure and self-esteem. Developing veterans to maximise their potential and achieve personal goals is our priority. Our dedicated and professional support will empower you to live independently and with dignity.
