Volunteer Programme Assistant

Location: Willenhall

Role Description

Assist and support Senior Programme Facilitator and Programme Facilitator in delivery of programmes for women in criminal justice system

Key Responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting service users and visitors
  • Helping to set up sessions
  • Supporting with delivering programmes
  • Supporting with preparing for sessions and events
  • Admin duties
  • Providing and replenishing refreshments
  • Contacting retailers for donations
  • Building good relationship with clients, staff team and other agencies

Skills, Experience and Abilities

  • Willingness to learn as well as commitment
  • Friendly, approachable manner
  • Ability to organise and plan work
  • Positive attitude
  • IT literate or willing to learn
  • Ability to communicate with a range of people i.e. Service users, staff and professionals

Expected Hours/Times

Minimum 3 hours per week. Walsall: Monday /Wednesday, Wolverhampton: Thursday/Friday. As agreed with line manager
