Christmas Meal Appeal

A small gift can make a big difference. Donate today to help provide a Christmas meal for someone experiencing homelessness and support Changing Lives' services beyond the festive season.

One Less Empty Seat This Christmas

Donate to Changing Lives

This Christmas, no one should feel forgotten.

For someone experiencing the challenges of homelessness, Christmas can be an especially lonely time. A hot dinner, somewhere warm and people to share it with can mean so much. Behind every empty seat is a person. Someone’s child, parent, sibling, partner or friend.

£5 provides a Christmas meal. Could you give someone a place at the table?

The Changing Lives Christmas Meal Appeal will be returning to Café 16 in Newcastle Cathedral this festive period on the 22nd of December, and we need your support to make it happen.

A meal won’t resolve homelessness. But it can offer warmth, welcome and human connection on a day when being alone can feel especially painful.

Please donate £5 today and help put someone’s Christmas dinner on the table.

Funds raised beyond the cost of Christmas meals will help Changing Lives continue supporting people beyond the festive period. It will help provide:

Essential food parcels for those unable to afford food.

Cooking equipment enabling people in our services to make more home cooked meals.

Cooking classes for people in our services to develop their cooking and budgeting skills.

Welcome household packs including items such as bedding, kettles, toaster, microwave or air fryers.

Welcome toiletry pack such as shampoo, body wash, sanitary items, or dental hygiene products.

Digital access support such as phones, data, or basic devices to stay connected.
