CJ (West Midlands)
Introduction to Service
In the West Midlands, Changing Lives works in partnership with Anawim, Black Country Women's Aid and Accord, to support women within the Criminal Justice System (CJS).
The support we offer is tailored to support vulnerable women whilst on licence within custody or within the community. Eligible women are 18+ and have two years or less left to serve on their license.
We work closely with multiple organisations to deliver a range of support that may be required to help create a life away from criminal activity and pursue future goals. Women can also take courses to support their personal development.
- Support relating to housing, finance, drug and alcohol misuse and mental health
- One-to-one or group self-development courses
- Support in gaining access to education or employment
