Meet our Co-Production Volunteer Tia - Volunteers' Week 2026

June 2026

1 Min Read

At Changing Lives we've recently established three co-production volunteers, who bring invaluable lived experience to help us assess and deliver the best possible services with and for the people we support. During Volunteers Week 2026, they told us their stories.

About Me & My Passions

First and foremost, I love spending quality time with my children. When I get some time to myself, I am a big fan of mountain biking. I absolutely love going for countryside walks and find peace in anything relaxing that gets me out into nature.

Why I Became a Coproduction Volunteer

I wanted to become a coproduction volunteer with Changing Lives because I believe in true collaboration. I want to make sure that people's lived experiences are not just heard, but are actively used to shape and improve services as equal partners.

What I Hope to Achieve

In this role, I hope to build strong, trusting relationships with the community and help bridge the gap between service users and decision-makers. On a personal level, I’m really looking forward to expanding my skills in group facilitation, learning from diverse perspectives, and seeing the tangible, positive impact of our shared work.
