Changing Lives to deliver Integrated Domestic Abuse Support Service across North Tyneside From January 2026.
Changing Lives will begin delivering North Tyneside’s Integrated Domestic Abuse Support Service, providing coordinated, trauma-informed support for people experiencing domestic abuse, as well as children and young people across North Tyneside.
The service will bring together a wide range of specialist support under one integrated model, ensuring people can access the right help at the right time. Support will be available for people with lived experience of domestic abuse, alongside dedicated provision for children and young people. The service will also offer specialist behaviour-change interventions for individuals using abusive behaviours, delivered in partnership with Cranstoun, who bring national expertise in this area.
The Integrated Domestic Abuse Support Service will include refuge and dispersed accommodation, 24/7 assessment and crisis response, outreach support, Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) services, counselling, group work and behaviour-change interventions.
Changing Lives brings significant experience in delivering specialist, recovery-focused services across the North East and beyond. The organisation’s approach is rooted in trauma-informed practice, collaboration with local partners and a commitment to supporting people through the complexities of domestic abuse and recovery.

The service has been commissioned by North Tyneside Council as part of its ongoing commitment to tackling domestic abuse and ensuring residents can access high-quality, specialist support.
