Gateshead Go, Work, Live

Gateshead Go, Work, Live

Employment Services

Introduction to Service

Gateshead Go, Work, Live is delivered by Changing Lives and Education Development Trust on behalf of Gateshead Council. It is funded through Gateshead Council’s Shared Prosperity Fund by the UK Government.

We offer free 1:2:1 appointments to help you explore your options or achieve specific goals. Together we work on steps like researching training courses, accessing benefits advice and applying for jobs. Whether you’ve had time out of the job market, are looking for work for the first time or have been made redundant, our support can get you to where you want to be.

We can also help you access a variety of activities like volunteering, social groups, jobs fairs and workshops that could help you reach your goals.

We work in the community so aim to meet you somewhere that you can access easily and feel comfortable in your surroundings. If you prefer we can also arrange online meetings.

We have a flexible fund that we can access to purchase things that could help you gain and keep employment, such as interview clothes or tools.
