Are you a member of a football, rugby, athletics or any other sports club? There are a number of ways that your team or club can be fabulous fundraisers and give back to your community! If you are stuck for ideas, check out the list below which may give you a little inspiration. We have all the information you need to start fundraising with your team.

Host an event at your facilities

Do you have access to a club building? Why not host a raffle, bingo or another event for members, parents and whoever else wishes to join in to take part!

Play a novelty match

Get everyone at your club involved in a different match. Be as creative as you like - put a spin on rules, have themed teams based on a popular film, play in fancy dress, the opportunities are endless!

Host a quiz related to your sport

Have teams and supporters at all levels engage in a bit of friendly competition and use your knowledge of your own sport to create a quiz.

Set up a food and beverage stand on match days

A quick and easy way to satisfy spectators on an early morning! Set up a stand with tea, coffee, bacon butties or whatever you like and raise vital funds whilst you do so.

Agree to fundraise with a sponsor

Do you have a kit or club sponsor from a local company? You may be able to arrange a joint commitment to a portion of the agreement going to charity.

Speak to local businesses for junior clubs

Junior teammates can engage in fundraising in their community by helping out local businesses. For example, they can pack bags at the supermarket, or wash cars at a workplace. Not only can this raise crucial funds, but it's great for team building!

Family fun day

Do you organise an annual fun day for adults and kids to enjoy? You can easily turn this into a fundraiser. No matter what you run, donating a portion of income to your selected charity is a great way to give back.

Summer BBQ

Perhaps you host a BBQ day at your club house in the summer to enjoy some good food and weather together? Why not have some of the revenue go to a good cause!
