Changing Lives bags £2,000 from Tesco Community Grant Scheme - My CMS

We are delighted to announce that Changing Lives’ Personal Transition Service has been awarded £2,000 from Tesco’s Bags of Help community grant scheme.

The award was granted thanks to the votes of shoppers at Tesco stores in Newcastle.

All the money raised will go towards our Personal Transitions Service in the North East, which builds on the strengths, assets and ambitions of individuals as a way to transition out of tough times such as homelessness, leaving prison, hospital or care.

Bags of Help is run in partnership with environmental charity Groundwork, and sees grants raised from the sale of carrier bags awarded to thousands of local community projects every year. Since launching in 2015, it’s provided more than £56 million to over 16,000 local community projects.
