The project is funded by the Big Lottery Fund and is now in it’s second year.

The project works with women from Black and Minority Ethnic Communities in Doncaster to:

  • Increase their confidence in communicating in English and spend more time using the English language to communicate.
  • Reach out to others in the community through different media, expanding support networks and encouraging community cohesion.
  • Complete accredited training
  • Volunteer within the community, expanding their employability skills and prospects.

The budget for evaluation is £6,000. All enquiries and applications must be sent to Diane Derbyshire before 5pm on 15th November 2014.

For more information on how to apply for the evaluation, please read the SHINE Project Evaluation Brief.
