Every year on the 10th of September, Changing Lives support #WorldSuicidePreventionDay to raise awareness about how we can reduce the number of people who die by suicide.
It is important to note that World Suicide Prevention Day falls within Recovery Month. We believe that with the right care, recovery from the most challenging of circumstances is possible for anyone.
At Changing Lives, we offer holistic support, with each of our pillars taking a trauma-informed approach and recognising the impact and importance of mental health.
We are here for anyone who wants to access support for drug and alcohol misuse, domestic abuse, sexual exploitation, homelessness, or those facing long term unemployment.
We know that suicide is preventable, it is not inevitable.
This year’s theme is “Creating Hope Through Action”, empowering people to feel hopeful.
We aim to inspire hope at Changing Lives through our tailored services and activities – whether that be specialist support programmes, or everyday activities that revolve around arts and crafts, or simply having a conversation over a cup of tea.

How to help?
Everyone has the means to help those who have been dealt the most challenging of circumstances. The best way to support us at Changing Lives is by donating here.
Reach out to your family, friends, and colleagues – remember it is okay not to be okay. Let’s continue these conversations, removing the stigma associated with mental health.
