We believe that third sector organisations in this region and elsewhere have huge potential to play an increasing role in provision.

Step Forward Tees Valley is an exciting programme delivered across the five local authority areas of the Tees Valley which aims to support people experiencing barriers and complex needs move closer toward work and training opportunities. The programme is jointly funded by the Big Lottery Fund and the European Social Fund until December 2019. Each local authority area has a team of Navigators that will work with 26 delivery partners each with specialist knowledge and skills to support 2,500 long term unemployed people. The post holder will be solely employed on the Step Forward Tees Valley programme, based in the Programme Management team at Darlington.

About the job

We are looking for a suitably experienced individual to undertake a contract compliance and monitoring role in an exciting local project.

This role will work across a total delivery partnership of 28 organisations to support a programme of audit to ensure compliance, quality and performance for Step Forward Tees Valley. The post holder will work primarily to support the Senior Finance Officer, in the Programme Management Team, to ensure that all evidence submitted with the financial claims made is to the required standard. The post holder will also work closely with the Quality and Performance Manager to ensure that the evidence required to evidence participant eligibility on the programme and the quality of participant files meets the required standard.
