Barratt Developments North East Support Changing Lives' Reverse Advent Calendar - My CMS

Barratt Developments North East are set to spread the festive cheer across the region this Christmas as they sign up to take part in Reverse Advent Calendar 2019.

Changing Lives is delighted to have partnered with Barratt Developments North East for this year’s Reverse Advent Calendar campaign. Barratt Developments North East, which includes Barratt Homes and David Wilson Homes, are kindly hosting donation drop-off stations located at each of their 19 sales offices across the region, including North Gosforth Park in Gosforth, Grey Towers Village in Nunthorpe, Woodland Rise in Hexham and Cherry Tree Park in Sunderland.

Christmas drop-off stations will be open at all sales offices from 1st November and will close on the 13th December, after which the housebuilder will deliver gifts to our projects across the North East.

Barratt Developments have kindly donated 100 Moving Packs to kick-start the campaign, helping to provide household necessities for people moving into our accommodation services across the region.

Carl Sobolewski, Managing Director at Barratt Developments North East, commented:

We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with this local charity, Changing Lives, and supporting them with the incredible work that they do to help vulnerable people across the region. We encourage everyone across the North East to visit one of the nearby developments and donate their items at the drop-off stations in the sales offices. Each and every item will be greatly appreciated by those who need it most, and we are hoping that with the support of residents from across the North East, we can help Changing Lives to make this a special Christmas for many more people.

Jade Brown, Fundraising Manager at Changing Lives, said:

We’d like to say a huge thank you to Barratt Developments North East for getting behind the campaign and helping to make this year’s Reverse Advent Calendar our best and biggest yet!

Having extra donation drop-off stations across the North East will help us to reach out into our local communities and will make donating to Changing Lives easier than ever before. The gifts we receive help us make Christmas special for the people we support and we’re incredibly grateful to Barratt Developments North East for choosing to support us in this way.
